Benefit Auctions

Susan Johnson believes that you get back what you give, and she enjoys giving her best to the community.  Benefit Auctions are Susan’s passion, when deciding what type of auctions she wanted to specialize in, it did not take long to realize that she had a flair for the benefit fund raisers.   As the Professional Auctioneer at Cocktail attire functions to 50's attire, Susan has helped to raise over $10,000,000 for local and national organizations such as:

  •  Doug Pelfrey’s Kicks for Kids Organization,
  •  Numerous private and public High Schools
  •  Germania Society
  •  Ronald McDonald House
  •  Youth Opportunity United
  •  4-H Community Fairs
  •  Many local and regional Non-Profit Organizations
  •  and many, many others.

Susan conducts over 40 Benefit Galas every year.  We are continuing to expand in this market, providing value and expertise to these types of auctions is something that no one is doing.  In addition to providing auctioning services, Susan will spend a good portion of her time working with auction committees as an auction consultant.  By providing ideas on procurement, audience development, decorating, lighting, sound, stage layout, silent and live auction display, and cashiering, she is able to assure the success of the event for her clients.

We have auction supplies available for purchase on our Supply page to make your auction a success also.  If you are currently using volunteers as your bid assistants (Bid Spotters, Ringman) you might want to consider using professional Bid Assistants, by using professional Ringman you can increase your profitability greatly while reducing the work of volunteers.

We have high-energy auctioneers, auction staff and a great support team.  We like to have fun and our goal is centered around making your auction attendees have a good time so that you can raise as much money as possible.

We do all types of fund raisers and we encourage you to call us today (513-403-6734) and let us help you with your next event.

Please note that in the State of Ohio if anyone connected with the auction is a Employee* then you must have a Licensed Auctioneer involved in the event.  (*auction coordinator, acquisitions of items, development, registration, check-in, check-out, etc.)

We inform our clients that there are three types of auctioneers.

  1. The volunteer, amateur,  or hobbyist is most often unskilled, and a self taught community member or even an eager radio or TV personality. Although they may make a good Master of Ceremonies for your event, THEY ARE NOT LICENSED BY THE STATE AS AN AUCTIONEER!
  2. The traditional auctioneer is professionally trained in the craft, but more often than not they have little if any experience in fundraising auctions, and unfortunately this can impact your event.
  3. The Benefit Auction Specialist Auctioneer comes from an accredited auction school, and she/he has attended and received the designation of BAS (Benefit Auction Specialist) from the National Auctioneer's Association that requires an intense three and half days of training in addition to continuing education requirements each year to keep the designation title. They possess the requisite professional experience with years in the industry, and further they possess the fundraising knowledge required to insure your event’s profitability.

Knowing these facts now, which auctioneer would you choose?
